Led by founder and CEO, Morgan Crockett, Firewire has helped hundreds of authors and publishers print and publish world-class books, spreading their stories and ideas all throughout the world.

Our mission is simple—to provide our clients with the highest-quality books in the industry, all while keeping your costs low. Because of our volume discounts, we can pass on savings we receive from our vetted printing partners, and select the perfect printer for your specific book. Each manufacturer, both in the US and overseas, uses state-of-the-art printing technology, which ensures accurate color matching and high-end quality.

Our Story

After helping hundreds of authors design, edit, and publish their books, our founder, Morgan Crockett, realized that many don't know where to look for high-quality book printing.

After extensively researching the book printing industry, Morgan saw that there were only two main options available for authors and small publishers: a) use an expensive, low-quality print-on-demand (POD) service, or b) work with a local or domestic printer, who may not offer the most competitive rates. Full-color hardcover books, such as coffee-table books and cookbooks, are especially difficult to produce affordably in the US. Often they are too expensive and many struggle to maintain a profit margin high enough to keep publishing.

Morgan decided to start a book printing company that gives authors access to the same high-quality overseas manufacturing that bookstores and big publishers use, all while keeping costs affordable. Our print specialists take care of you each step of the process: from how to prepare files, to ocean freight and customs, all the way to final delivery logistics to your garage, warehouse, or fulfillment house/distributor.
